Photinia Red Robin is a popular evergreen shrub widely grown for its vibrant red young leaves, which as they gradually mature, they turn glossy green, providing a striking contrast with the red younger foliage. In late spring to early summer, Photinia Red Robin produces small, creamy-white flowers in large, flat clusters. Hardy in most winters, plants do benefit from a sunny sheltered position and some frost protection in particularly cold weather.
