Mild(ish) Chilli Pepper Plant Collection
From 21st May 2025.
Product Description
This mildly hot pepper collection contains 3 x 9cm potted plants, 1 each of the following varieties:
De Cayenne - Lots of classic red fruits with just enough bite to heat and spice up stews, salads, curries and stir-fries. They turn from a milder flavoured green to hotter red. Ideal for using fresh and for drying.
Jalapeno - The classic American pizza pepper. Fill with cream cheese, batter and deep fry to make chilli poppers or freeze to use throughout the year.
Trinidad Perfume - What a really special chilli, it has an authentic, intense habanero flavour but without the searing heat! In our trial of over 102 chillies last year, it came top for taste by a long way. Invaluable in the kitchen, it can be used in conjunction with hot habanero's, as it allows the cook to control the heat of the dish without compromising on pungency and depth of flavour. The plants are compact and very high yielding.
Our 9cm Potted Vegetable Plants
Over recent seasons we’ve switched several of our veg varieties from smaller plug plants to 9cm potted plants and had nothing but positive feedback. These larger plants are more vigorous with large, robust root systems and they travel better and establish more quickly than plug plants.
