10 Garden Ready Plants

Brassica oleracea gemmifera

From 15th June 2022

Product Description

If clubroot is a problem in your vegetable plot then Brussels sprout Crispus, which is an early to mid-season hybrid is for you. The dark green buttons stand in good condition on the tall plants for several weeks.

Clubroot is a devastating disease affecting the roots of brassicas, resulting in slow growth, reduced yields or even deceased plants. With no known treatment, the only way to grow guaranteed clubroot free brassicas in your plot is by growing our Clubroot resistant F1 hybrid varieties.

When it comes to clubroot control, bigger is definitely better! – as recommended by the RHS. “…give plants a head start by growing them on in healthy soil to a larger than normal size before planting out, so that they begin growth with a larger than usual healthy root system”.

Grown to order in our specially designed garden ready tray format, these plants represent the best available for strong and healthy plants, highly productive modern F1 hybrids as well as superb weather tolerance. Grown in the UK by one of the leading vegetable plant specialists, our brassicas will arrive ready for immediate planting outside.

These large, well rooted garden ready plants will measure up to 18cm/7in from base of plug to plant tips (dependant upon variety).
