Zantedeschia Odessa produces deep plum, nearly black flowers on upright stems above a neat clump of foliage. Reaching around 50cm, it is a useful choice for patio pots, sheltered borders and cut-flower displays.

Plant in spring after the last frost in fertile, well-drained soil or compost, in full sun or a bright sheltered spot. Water during active growth and apply a liquid feed while flowering. These plants are not reliably hardy in cold UK winters; lift bulbs or protect containers in a frost-free location.

About our bulbs: We work with experienced growers to select quality planting stock for British gardens. Our bulbs are trialled and assessed by our growers or at our Suffolk trials ground, helping us choose varieties you can plant with confidence.
