Mesembryanthemum Apricot Shimmer produces a dazzling display of bright apricot flowers on low-growing succulent plants. Flourishing in hot, dry and sunny positions, it's an excellent choice for border edges, gravel gardens and patio containers where its vibrant flowers can really shine. The spreading plants form colourful ground cover and are wonderfully suited to warm, drought-prone spots.

Position: Full Sun

Sow indoors February-April, around 0.5cm deep at 15-20°C. Once seedlings emerge, reduce the temperature to around 10-15°C and thin to approximately 5cm apart. Harden off and plant outdoors from late May, spacing around 15cm apart. Alternatively sow outdoors May-June directly into the flowering position and thin as necessary. Grow in a warm, sunny, well-drained position. Flowers June-September.
