Winteria Onion Sets are a robust, overwintering variety developed from ‘Radar’, selected for their ability to perform in challenging UK growing conditions. Exceptionally hardy, they establish quickly in autumn and continue to develop through winter, setting the foundation for strong, productive plants.

Plant outdoors from September to October in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. As growth resumes in spring, plants produce consistent, globe-shaped bulbs with golden-yellow skins and a firm texture, ideal for use in a wide range of fresh and cooked dishes.

This mid-early variety delivers a high yield with improved storage potential, allowing you to enjoy your home-grown onions well beyond harvest. Lift in summer once foliage has died back, then cure thoroughly to maximise keeping quality and flavour.
