Collection includes 40 plants, 10 of each of the following varieties:
Cauliflower Amsterdam F1 We have found this excellent variety to have good cold tolerance and strong growth, providing tasty caulis for the kitchen from October-November.
Kale Reflex F1 Kale reflex is a new strain, which is tastier and more succulent than many older varieties. Reflex F1 is a 'must have' winter vegetable because it can be picked as required from October through to February. Reflex will sail through the very toughest of winters too!
Cabbage Tundra F1 We know of no hardier winter cabbage than Tundra, for it will stand defiantly in good condition from November right through to March. Tundra has large, solid, crisp cabbage heads which are full of flavour and come highly recommended by the D.T. Brown team.
Sprouting Broccoli Rudolph Broccoli Rudolph is the very earliest. Start picking Rudolph's deeply flavoured young spears, with their melt-in-the-mouth succulence, from November and carry on supplying the cook of your household until March.
Following on from our summer cropping range, our autumn and winter cropping varieties will ensure you have a tasty and delicious selection of vegetables to harvest from autumn through to next spring. As for our summer range, all are grown at our nursery, in their own cell of compost, and have been selected for their flavour and reliability. Despatches will begin in August for immediate planting.
You will be impressed by their quality and the speed with which they establish and grow after transplanting, giving you the satisfaction of home grown vegetables. Top quality varieties, professionally grown, delivered at just the right time and in perfect condition for growing on in your garden, allotment or greenhouse, with complete, easy-to-understand growing hints – just what you would expect from D.T. Brown.
