One of our best in trials, rapidly forming small slightly rugby-ball shaped fruit which were bursting with flavour and incredibly juicy. Great for a greenhouse or polytunnel.

Sow Indoors : February-April, 1.5cm/half-inch deep in small pots of compost. Sow one seed, edge down, per pot. Keep at 20-25°C/68-75°F. Transplant when seedlings are 10cm/4in tall to individual 12.5cm/5in pots. Plant out after 3-4 weeks to grow bags or a greenhouse border, spacing 45cm/18in apart. Pinch out growing tip after 5 leaves have formed, to encourage side shoots. Harvest : August-October. Ventilate the greenhouse on warm days to help pollination. Feed regularly when fruit sets and keep well watered. Once 3-4 fruit have set, remove any other that develop.
