Vine Weevil Control Nematodes 100sq.m

Vine Weevil Nematodes are microscopic worms which seek out soil larvae of Vine Weevil then feed and multiply inside to stop them feeding on your plants. Nematodes are naturally found in the soil, by using this product you are simply topping it up. Vine weevils are serious garden pests that can feed on a wide range of ornamental plants and fruits, especially those grown in containers. The adult vine weevils eat leaves, and the grubs eat roots causing plants to die.

This product will be despatched within 3 working days,  from Monday to Thursday by 1st Class post. Please make sure you order it when you need it.

- One packet treats 100sq.m.- It is safe to use and harmless to children, pets, birds, and wildlife.

- Recommended minimum soil temperature is 12°C (54°F).

- Recommended outdoor application time: Best applied to pots and open ground around March to May, again August to October. Can be used outside of these dates and may still help to control the pest.

- If applying under cover it can be applied at any time, as long as the soil is above 12ºC.

- Apply directly to the soil around the roots which is where the larvae will be feeding.

- Soil or compost must be moist before and for at least 2 weeks after application, avoid waterlogging.

- Apply during evenings or dull conditions to avoid full sunlight.

- Must be stored in refrigerator and used within best before date stated, do not freeze.

- Please note these are a live product and have an expiry date usually about 2 weeks, expiry date printed on the packet, non-returnable.

- Do not use chemical insecticides during the use of nematodes.

Nematodes products contain Nematodes (microscopic worms) which are renowned biological control products, providing many benefits over traditional gardening chemicals and are a key ally for organic gardeners. All products are simple to apply, and safe to use and harmless to children, pets, birds, and wildlife.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a live product and needs to be used upon receipt. Use entire packet at one time and do not store made up solution. The entire spray solution should be applied once mixed. Do not store for longer than 4 hours. Use as soon as possible upon delivery. Usual expiry date is around two weeks once you receive the nematodes. The product comes complete with instructions. Apply using a watering can with a coarse rose or nematode applicator. Apply to moist soil and make sure the soil remains moist for at least two weeks after applying nematodes. Nematodes can survive the odd frost. Apply early morning or late evening to minimize the effect of heat and sunlight.
