Tulip Queen of the Night Bulbs produce elegant deep maroon flowers that can appear almost black, creating one of the most dramatic colour effects among late-spring tulips. Their rich tone combines beautifully with white, pink and pastel varieties.

Supplied as a pack of 15 bulbs, plants reach around 60cm (24in) and flower from April to May. Their strong stems make them excellent for borders, large containers and cutting. Plant from October to December in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.

Bulb size: 12+
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 12+ bulb measures at least 12cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
