Tomato Tumbling Tom Red Seeds

Sow Tumbling Tom Red Tomato seeds in spring somewhere warm and sunny. Plant them out after the risk of frost has passed. They need a rich, well-drained potting compost and regular watering. Tumbling Tom Tomatoes can be planted out once they are around 10cm tall, and the risk of frost has passed. A small 25cm hanging basket should contain just one plant. A larger 30 or 35cm hanging basket may house two or three plants. However, the more plants you have in a hanging basket the faster it will dry out, and the heavier it will be, so bear this in mind before planting. 

Tomato Tumbling Tom Red is a determinate variety that trails, so instead of growing upwards it will cascade over the side of a container or hanging basket. They usually grow to around 30cm long with a profusion of bright red cherry tomatoes.
