Tomato Indoor Plant Collection

SKU: 55117

Solanum lycopersicum

Nothing beats a freshly picked tomato warmed by the sun rays in the greenhouse! Growing tomatoes indoors produces an early crop, these 3 varieties are tried and tested. Shirley is Britain’s favourite indoor tomato whilst Sungold and Sweet Million can be grown indoors or outdoors.

You will receive 3 x 9cm potted plants, 1 each of the following varieties:

Tomato Shirley AGM (Medium) - Our favourite greenhouse tomato with heavy yields of medium sized fruits with excellent flavour. The plants are short-jointed, vigorous and offer good disease resistance - all in all an outstanding hybrid. Indeterminate type suitable for growing indoors.

Tomato Sungold F1 AGM (Cherry) - The golden little fruits have a uniquely sweet flavour thanks to the high sugar levels produced. Some customers will now grow no other tomato! Indeterminate for indoor or outdoor growing.

Tomato Sweet Million F1 AGM (Cherry) - Gives about 30 bite size, very sweet tomatoes to the pound, a very prolific cropper – small cherry fruits cover the disease resistant plants. Long trusses are borne on vigorous plants. Indeterminate.

Almost too well known to need an introduction, our love affair with tomatoes has never been stronger. Tomatoes come in all shapes and sizes and there is always a space for a few varieties, whether indoors in the greenhouse, outside in the garden or on the patio. We will sow the seed, nurture the seedlings and pot them on so that you will receive large 9cm potted plants ready for planting into growbags, greenhouse borders, outside or into baskets. You just need to choose which of our tried and tested traditional or disease resistant modern varieties you want and when and we'll do the rest!

Not the best condition

Plants arrived on time but not in best condition. Have bought my tomato plants from D T brown for several years never had problem. There was more soil loose in packaging than in plant pots and plants looked a bit battered, obviously courier at fault. They have improved a bit since repotting into large tubs in greenhouse.
