Strawberry Malling Centenary A+ Grade Plant

Product Description
Strawberry Malling Centenary A+ Grade Plant
Bred to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the renowned East Malling Research Station in Kent, this variety produces glossy, bright red, conical fruits with superb flavour. The berries are well presented on the plant, making picking quick and easy, with fruiting from early to late June (earlier if grown under cloches).
Delivered as dormant, bare rooted A+ grade plants. These A+ grade plants are grown through the summer months with added protection from fleece early on. Only plants with a 15mm+ diameter qualify for this grade, offering well-developed root systems. On average, each plant produces 3-4 trusses, supporting more flowers and fruit, with around 400g+ of berries per plant. Trials against standard runners showed approximately 50% more berries harvested from A+ grade plants.
