We are delighted to bring you this fascinating cross between pumpkin Crown Prince and butternut squash - a brand new type of winter squash known as a squashkin! Expect a butternut-coloured pumpkin-shaped fruit with deep orange flesh which has a unique sweet melon scent. The heavy yielding semi-trailing vines produce very early fruit which can weigh up to 2kg each. Expect up to 5 fruits per plant which are great for long storage.
