Product Description

This great value squash plant collection consists of 3 x 9cm potted plants, 1 each of the following varieties:

Walnut F1 - Walnut has been bred to give much improved yields and earlier maturity which makes it so ideal for the British climate. The best bet in northern climes! Fruits average 1.5-2kilo in weight and is highly adaptable to different growing conditions. We know you won't be disappointed! The flesh is deliciously flavoursome and nutty with an excellent texture which makes it one of the most versatile of vegetables - as Britain’s cooks are discovering.

Sunburst F1 - A bright yellow-skinned Patty Pan type, this high yielding variety yields squashes with a fine flavour and texture. Rather ornamental when growing.

Uchiki Kuri - An onion-shaped squash with orange skin and flesh with a good flavour. Early to mature and a very good keeping variety.

Our 9cm Potted Vegetable Plants
Over recent seasons we’ve switched several of our veg varieties from smaller plug plants to 9cm potted plants and had nothing but positive feedback. These larger plants are more vigorous with large, robust root systems and they travel better and establish more quickly than plug plants.
