Shrub Rose Trio Plants Collection brings together three exceptional shrub roses, carefully selected for their beauty, fragrance and dependable garden performance. Combining elegant white blooms, warm apricot tones and rich purple flowers, this collection provides months of colour and interest from early summer into autumn.
This collection includes:
• Rose Alba Maxima (Shrub) Plants
A classic variety producing fragrant double white blooms that open with a subtle bluish tint before maturing to creamy white. Attractive rose hips follow the flowers, extending seasonal interest well beyond the flowering period.
• Rose Buff Beauty (Shrub) Plants - AGM
A much-loved RHS Award of Garden Merit variety producing generous clusters of soft apricot blooms from June to October. Hardy, disease-resistant and lightly fragrant, it can be grown as a shrub or trained against a support.
• Rose Cardinal De Richelieu (Shrub) Plants
A historic Gallica rose dating back to 1847, producing sumptuous deep purple double blooms with a distinctive rounded form. Nearly thornless stems and subtle fragrance make it an excellent choice for cutting.
Together these varieties create a beautiful succession of colour, fragrance and texture, performing well in borders, patio plantings and traditional rose gardens. Hardy and easy to establish, they offer reliable flowering and lasting garden value year after year.
Shrub Rose: Shrub Roses are usually the largest of the bush roses. They are ideal for the back of borders or dividing spaces in the garden with their mounding, spreading shape. Their flowers may be single, semi-double or double and are produced all along the stems, creating spectacular displays over a long period. Many varieties are also highly fragrant.
Planting advice: Plant bare root roses outdoors from October to March. Choose a sunny or partially shaded position with well-drained soil. Soak roots before planting, position the graft union just below soil level and water thoroughly after planting. Apply mulch to help conserve moisture and encourage strong establishment.
