Runner Bean (White Flowered) White Lady AGM Seeds

White lady runner beans can be sown from early April until late May. They are fast-growing and tender, so they should be kept protected from frosts and not planted too early, as they will quickly outgrow their pots. Many gardeners agree that White Lady is one of the best white-flowering runner beans. They have beautiful flowers, set pods easily and have an excellent flavour. The pods are long, fleshy and stringless, making them a favourite all round.

October is a great month for sowing Broad Beans and overwintering peas, but you can’t sow runner, dwarf or climbing beans in October in the UK. These are best sown in spring just before the danger of frost passes.
