Rose Buff Beauty (Shrub) Plants - AGM are a reliable and beautifully scented choice, producing generous clusters of soft apricot blooms over an exceptionally long flowering season from June through to October. Introduced in 1939, this classic rose has earned a reputation for dependable performance, elegant charm and remarkable versatility.
With a naturally compact, upright habit, it is ideal for sunny beds and borders, while its vigorous growth also allows it to be trained against walls, fences or supports if desired. The large trusses of double flowers provide continuous colour throughout the summer months, while the gentle fragrance adds further appeal to outdoor spaces.
This variety holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM), recognising its outstanding garden performance, strong growth and suitability for UK growing conditions. Hardy, disease-resistant and easy to establish, it remains a favourite among gardeners seeking a rose that combines beauty with reliability.
Shrub Rose: Shrub Roses are usually the largest of the bush roses. They are great for the back of borders or dividing spaces in the garden with a mounding, spreading shape. Their flowers may be single, semi-double or double and are produced all along the stems, creating a spectacular display over a long period. Many varieties are also highly fragrant.
These roses are supplied as 2-year-old bare root plants with 2 to 3 strong breaks.
Planting advice: Plant bare root roses outdoors from October to March. Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-drained soil. Dig a hole large enough to accommodate the roots comfortably, soak the roots in water before planting and position the graft union just below soil level. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch to retain moisture.
