Rhubarb Poulton's Pride Plants are bred for an exceptionally long cropping season. Unlike most rhubarb, the variety does not enter the usual summer dormancy, allowing established plants to continue producing rosy red-flushed stems through summer and autumn.

Forced plants can begin cropping from February and established plants may continue through to November. The stems have a sweet, distinctive flavour that works beautifully in crumbles, pies, compotes and preserves.

Grow in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade, and give young plants time to establish before harvesting heavily.
