Pea Early Onward AGM Seeds is a popular East Anglian-bred variety that crops up to a fortnight earlier than traditional Onward types. Low growing plants produce excellent yields of blunt-ended, dark green pods, each filled with peas rich in flavour. Reliable and productive, it’s a superb choice for those looking to enjoy an early and rewarding harvest.

Characteristics & growing conditions

Plant Height: 75cm/30in
Sow March to June in trenches 6in/15cm wide Depth 2in/5cm Trenches 3ft/90cm apart. Support: using canes or twigs. Harvest 13 to 14 weeks after sowing. For the best flavour pick peas just before they are needed. Harvest regularly. For bumper crops, dig in plenty of well rotted compost before sowing or feed with a general purpose fertiliser. Keep down weeds and water well in dry periods. Suitable for freezing.
