Onion Rosanna Seeds produce attractive pink, semi-globe onions that reveal subtle pink rings when sliced. This versatile variety is ideal for enjoying both raw in salads and cooked in recipes, offering a delicate flavour and eye-catching colour for home-grown kitchens.

Sow indoors in January to February for the largest bulbs, placing seeds thinly 0.5cm (quarter-inch) deep in trays of seed compost at around 15°C (60°F). Harden off from April to May and plant out 20cm (8in) apart in rows spaced 30cm (12in). For outdoor sowing, sow thinly 1.5cm (half-inch) deep from March to April, spacing rows 30cm (12in) apart and thinning seedlings to 20cm (8in) apart. Keep the soil well watered and free from weeds to support healthy growth.

Harvest from September to October to enjoy sweet, colourful onions perfect for fresh salads or cooked dishes straight from your garden.
