Sow indoors January-March, thinly on the surface of moist seed compost at 15-20°C. Do not cover the seed as light aids germination. Germination usually takes 7-14 days. Prick out seedlings in small clumps, harden off and plant outdoors from late May after the risk of frost, spacing around 10-15cm apart. Keep moist throughout the growing season. Flowers June-October.
