Kiwi arguta Issai Fruit Plant (self fertile) is a hardy kiwi berry selected for its self-fertile habit, making it particularly useful where there is room for only one plant. The smooth-skinned green fruits are much smaller than supermarket kiwis and can be eaten whole without peeling.

Issai is a vigorous twining climber, so give it a strong support and a warm, sunny, sheltered position. Fruit develops through summer and is harvested in autumn; in cooler seasons it can be picked and allowed to finish ripening indoors.

2 Litre Potted Plants

Expertly grown and supplied in 2 litre pots measuring approximately 17cm in diameter, our plants have large, well-developed root systems and are ready to plant straight into their final position in the garden. Chosen for their garden performance and seasonal beauty, each variety will naturally vary in foliage height and appearance.
