Why not impress your friends and family by adding them to your own dishes! AZTEC SWEET HERB - Also known as Mayan mint or Honeyherb, Aztec Sweetherb originates from Mexico, where it is traditionally used as a sweetener for many recipes. This is an aromatic herb that should be much more widely grown for both its ornamental and herbal value. The intensely sweet leaves are green with purple tinting, and in summer small white flowers give added interest. Perfect for growing in pots or hanging baskets. Use in hot and cold drinks and desserts as a sugar alternative. Keep frost free in winter. VIETNAMESE CORIANDER - The leaves of Vietnamese Coriander are widley used in Southeast Asian dishes for their spicy coriander-like flavour. This is an attractive, aromatic herb that has upright purple-tinted stems and pointed deep green leaves with purple patterning. Harvest throughout the summer and use to add a kick to any recipe. Suitable for container growing. Keep frost free in winter. MUSHROOM PLANT - This handy little plant is native to New Guinea, where is is traditionally used for its nutritional benefits and to add a mushroom-like flavour to recipes. The mushroom plant is high in iron, vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium and protein. It looks and grows much like Basil, but the leaves offer a unique mushroom-like aroma and can be eaten raw or added to all kinds of dishes from stir-frys to soups. Suitable for container growing.
