Gladiolus Purple Flora Grow a reliable, eye-catching summer display with gladiolus purple flora. Rich purple flower spikes add depth to sunny summer borders and make striking cut flowers.

Plant gladiolus corms 10–15cm deep in well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered position from April to June. Space around 10–15cm apart and water during dry spells. Stake exposed stems if necessary. Lift and store corms frost-free where winter conditions are severe.

For a longer display, plant gladiolus corms in small groups at intervals during spring.
