Garlic Carcassonne Wight Bulbs (Hardneck) is a premium hardneck garlic variety, supplied as 2 bulbs and specially selected for excellent performance in UK growing conditions.

Widely recognised as one of the top performers in Isle of Wight trials, this variety delivers strong, vigorous growth and produces beautifully formed bulbs with a good skin cover. The cloves are an attractive pink shade and offer a rich, aromatic flavour that carries exceptionally well through cooking. Expect well-sized bulbs reaching 50–70mm, ready for harvest in July.

Each year, stock is carefully sourced in partnership with The Garlic Farm, ensuring only expert-grown, high-quality planting material is supplied. This helps guarantee consistent performance and superior results from planting through to harvest. All bulbs are certified disease and virus free for complete peace of mind.

Hardneck Garlic Generally more hardy than softneck varieties (they are the best choice for northern gardeners) and tend to be a bit larger but with fewer cloves per bulb. They produce scapes in early summer – a strong, single flower stalk that should be removed and used in a range of culinary dishes.
