Fritillaria meleagris Flower Bulbs, commonly called snakeshead fritillaries, produce distinctive nodding purple bells patterned with a fine chequerboard effect. Their delicate form is particularly at home in informal and naturalistic planting.

Supplied as a pack of 15 bulbs, plants reach around 20cm and flower from April to May. They are ideal for the front of borders, containers, meadow-style grass and woodland edges, and can also be cut for small arrangements. Plant from September to October in moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
