Duke Blueberry 1 x 2ltr Potted Plant is a reliable early-season variety producing good crops of firm, medium to large berries with good flavour. The fruit keeps particularly well after picking, making Duke useful when you want blueberries for fresh eating, chilling, freezing, baking or desserts.

The hardy, upright bush reaches around 2m and flowers relatively late, helping reduce the risk of damage from spring frosts. Grow in acidic, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Where garden soil is unsuitable, plant in a large container or raised bed filled with ericaceous compost.

Supplied as an established 2 litre potted plant for a strong start in the kitchen garden or fruit-growing area.
