Darlac Heavy Duty Geared Anvil Lopper uses a rack and pinion gearing system to multiply cutting power for effortless pruning of thick branches. Opening the handles to 180° allows positioning over the branch before bringing them together to deliver powerful cutting force, capable of severing branches up to 50mm. The chrome plated steel head offers rust resistance, while lightweight aluminium handles with an oval ribbed profile provide strength and comfort. Designed for cutting old or hard wood, the flat anvil platform supports the branch as the blade delivers a chopping motion onto it for effective removal.
