Dahlia Bishop's Children combines dramatic bronze foliage with a vibrant mixture of single flowers in rich shades of red, yellow and orange, with the occasional pink bloom. Bred from the much-loved 'Bishop of Llandaff', the tall plants make a striking addition to sunny borders and provide excellent stems for cutting. Their open-centred flowers are also readily accessible to visiting pollinators.

Sow indoors January-April, around 0.5cm deep at 15-20°C. Transplant seedlings at the 2-4 leaf stage into individual pots to minimise root disturbance. Harden off and plant outdoors from late May after the risk of frost, spacing around 60cm apart. Keep plants well watered and remove faded flower heads regularly to prolong flowering. Flowers July until the first frosts.
