Currant Fruit Plant Collection brings together three productive currants for a varied kitchen-garden harvest: one blackcurrant, one redcurrant and one whitecurrant, supplied as bare root plants.

Ben Connan is a compact blackcurrant producing large, tasty berries. Rovada is a heavy-cropping late redcurrant with long strings of large fruit that are easy to pick. Blanka is a heavy-cropping late whitecurrant with translucent ivory berries. Together they provide plenty of fruit for eating fresh, summer puddings, jams, jellies and preserves.

Plant during the dormant season in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. Full sun gives the sweetest crops, although currants will tolerate some partial shade.

Plant bare root currants during the dormant season in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. Water well, mulch annually and prune according to currant type.
