Cucumber Emilie F1 Seeds are a prolific all-female variety producing smooth-skinned cucumbers around 20cm long with crisp texture and excellent flavour. Plants show strong resistance to common cucumber diseases including cucumber mosaic virus, helping to ensure reliable harvests throughout the season. Ideal for greenhouse growing, these vigorous plants crop heavily and provide plenty of fresh cucumbers for salads and summer dishes.

Indoor sowing: Sow February-May singly into 7.5cm pots of seed compost, inserting seeds edgeways. Cover with 1.5cm compost and keep at 20-25°C under glass or a propagator lid. Seedlings appear in 7-21 days. Remove cover after germination and grow on at approx. 15°C. Transplant after 3-4 leaves form, spacing 45cm apart in greenhouse beds, grow bags or large pots. Train plants up supports for straight fruits.
