Product Description

Grow these four tip-top cauliflowers and you will be able to pick heads of superb quality, texture and flavour for much of the year! All caulis do best in well dug, rich soils into which plenty of organic matter has been incorporated.

The collection includes 10 each of the following varieties:-

Triomphant F1 This cauliflower is just for Christmas - and January too! The dense, pure white curds remain well protected by foliage. If you like the idea of home-grown cauliflower as part of your Christmas dinner look no further than this outstanding variety.

Amsterdam F1 We have found this excellent variety to have good cold tolerance and strong growth, providing tasty caulis for the kitchen from October to January.

Aalsmeer AGM Aalsmeer is another very winter-hardy cauliflower variety, standing throughout to yield a fine crop of top quality curds in early spring. Aalsmeer is an absolute delight from March to April.

North Foreland F1 We like North Foreland which is a hybrid cauliflower that matures through January and February and has good standing ability. The very white curds have a strong protection from outer leaves and North Foreland has exceptional winter hardiness.

Following on from our summer cropping range, our autumn and winter cropping varieties will ensure you have a tasty and delicious selection of vegetables to harvest from autumn through to next spring. As for our summer range, all are grown at our nursery, in their own cell of compost, and have been selected for their flavour and reliability. Despatches will begin in August for immediate planting.

You will be impressed by their quality and the speed with which they establish and grow after transplanting, giving you the satisfaction of home grown vegetables. Top quality varieties, professionally grown, delivered at just the right time and in perfect condition for growing on in your garden, allotment or greenhouse, with complete, easy-to-understand growing hints – just what you would expect from D.T. Brown.
