Carrot Autumn King 2 is a dependable maincrop favourite producing long, richly coloured roots with excellent flavour. Delicious roasted, added to hearty winter dishes or enjoyed fresh, the hardy roots store well and can be left in the ground until needed. The biodegradable seed tape contains approximately 580 pre-spaced seeds, making sowing straightforward and reducing the need for fiddly thinning.

Sow outdoors March-August. Make a shallow drill where the carrots are to crop, around 1.5cm deep. Secure one end of the biodegradable seed tape and gently roll it out, then cover lightly with fine soil and water. Allow around 30cm between rows. Thin only if necessary. Sow at four-week intervals for a continuous supply and harvest June-December as the roots reach the required size.
