Camassia Flower Bulb Collection

Camassia Flower Bulb Collection combines two outstanding varieties to create a graceful display of star-shaped flowers in late spring and early summer. The collection contains 20 bulbs, with 10 of each variety, carefully selected to provide contrast, height and long-lasting interest in borders and naturalised planting.

• Camassia Leichtlinii Alba
  Tall, statuesque spires of creamy white flowers rise on stems reaching up to 90cm (36in). This elegant variety flowers slightly earlier than blue forms, adding brightness and structure to borders, while its long-lasting blooms are excellent for cutting.
• Camassia Cusickii
  Clusters of large Cambridge-blue, star-shaped flowers with striking yellow stamens rise above sturdy stems, creating a dramatic display in borders or naturalised drifts. This long-lived variety flourishes in fertile, moisture-retentive soil and makes a superb cut flower.

Very easy to grow, Camassias perform well in sun or light shade and are particularly useful in heavier, moisture-retentive soils. Their upright habit and reliable perennial nature allow them to return year after year with minimal attention.

Bulb size: 14/16
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 14/16 bulb measures approximately 14-16cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
