Cabbage Offenham 2 (Flower Of Spring) Seeds are a trusted traditional spring cabbage variety valued for their excellent flavour and reliable performance. The dark green heads can be harvested young as tender spring greens or left to mature into compact hearted cabbages. Well suited to kitchen gardens and allotments, this hardy variety provides fresh home-grown produce during the cooler months when little else is ready to harvest.

Outdoor sowing: Sow July-August or March-May for greens in rows 25cm apart in a prepared seed bed. Cover lightly with fine soil and keep moist. Transplant when 5-6 leaves form, spacing 25cm apart for greens or 45cm for hearted cabbages. Indoor sowing: Sow March-May in trays at approx. 13°C. Transplant seedlings to trays, harden off and plant out 45cm apart. Harvest greens February-March or September-November, cabbages April-May.
