Begonia Sorbet Collection Flower Bulbs

Begonia Sorbet Collection combines three different begonias with generous, layered flowers in soft pink and creamy white. Together they create a long-lasting summer display for sheltered patios, pots and garden corners. The mix includes a scented variety, bringing another reason to enjoy these flowers up close.

Included in the collection:

• Begonia Rosebud – 1 bulb – Full, layered flowers have a lovely rose-like appearance.
• Begonia odorata Angelique – 1 bulb – Pale pink flowers bring a softer shade and a delicate scent.
• Begonia Wummi Creme – 1 bulb – Creamy white flowers with warm yellow centres help lift the whole display.

How to grow: Start the bulbs indoors in early spring, placing each one with its hollow side facing up in a shallow tray of slightly moist peat-free compost. Keep them warm and protected from frost while shoots appear, then move them into pots as they grow. Gradually get the plants used to outdoor conditions before placing them outside once the danger of frost has passed. Choose a sheltered position with gentle sun or partial shade. Water the compost rather than the leaves, avoiding soggy conditions, and feed regularly while flowering. Before the first autumn frost, allow the plants to die back and store the bulbs somewhere dry and frost-free for next year.

About our bulbs: We work closely with trusted growers to choose good-quality bulbs for British gardens. Our ranges are assessed in Suffolk and with our growers to help us select plants you can look forward to growing.
