Enjoy the sweetness of a greenhouse cherry tomato from a compact plant designed for small outdoor spaces. Veranda Red is a dwarf, determinate variety that thrives in patio pots, containers and hanging baskets. Despite its neat habit, each plant can produce up to 75 delicious red cherry tomatoes. The plants show good resistance to Verticillium and Fusarium wilt, together with some resistance to late blight.

SOW INDOORS January-March for greenhouse crops or March-April for outdoor crops, thinly in pots or trays of compost, 0.5cm/quarter-in deep. Keep at 15-20°C/60-68°F. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when approximately 10cm/4in tall. Once the risk of frost has passed, plant into patio pots, containers or hanging baskets and position in full sun. Keep plants well watered and feed regularly once the first fruits form. This determinate dwarf variety does not require side-shoot removal.
