Blackcurrant Ebony Fruit Plant

One of the sweetest blackcurrants we have ever tasted! A genuine dessert variety with fruits up to twice the size of standard varieties – perfect for eating fresh off the bush and adding to fruit salads. Thin-skinned, juicy and deliciously sweet but still with a familiar blackcurrant taste, they form a neat and bushy shape with an open habit, making picking easy. Excellent mildew resistance too.

The 2ltr and 3ltr plants are, on average, a year older than 9cm potted varieties and due to the larger pot, the roots have more room to grow and develop which in turn allows them to absorb more nutrition, resulting in stronger and healthier plants.
