FAQs

Are Shirley tomatoes any good?

Shirley tomatoes are celebrated for their rich, traditional flavour and excellent resistance to common tomato diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus and fusarium wilt. They are reliable croppers that form sturdy, compact, indeterminate vines.

Are Shirley tomatoes determinate or indeterminate?

Shirley tomatoes are indeterminate but have short joints, meaning that they have compact growth. This makes them an excellent choice for smaller spaces, as they will not grow as tall as other indeterminate vines.

Are Shirley tomatoes big?

Shirley tomato seeds produce medium-sized fruits that are around 5cm in diameter. The vines are relatively short and compact, making them easy to train and great for smaller spaces.
