Sow indoors February-April in pots or trays and place in a cold frame or cool greenhouse. Cover lightly with fine compost and thin seedlings as necessary. Harden off from late May and transplant to the flowering position in June. Alternatively sow outdoors April-June in a seed bed, thinning as necessary and transplanting in September. Space plants around 30cm apart and keep moist while establishing. Flowers June-July the following year.
