Redcurrant Junifer Fruit Plant

Junifer crops appreciably earlier than Rovada, starting in early July, ideal for redcurrant fans to ensure a long season. Unusually for a redcurrant, Junifer will carry fruit on both this and last years wood. The fruit is tasty, although the flavour is not as strong as Rovada, and the plants are very high yielding.
The 2ltr plants are, on average, a year older than 9cm potted varieties and due to the larger pot, the roots have more room to grow and develop which in turn allows them to absorb more nutrition, resulting in stronger and healthier plants.
