Onion Walla Walla Seeds produce exceptionally sweet, mild-flavoured onions from a prized French heirloom. Known for their impressive size and delicate taste, this variety is perfect for home-grown kitchens and adding gourmet flavour to your dishes.

Sow indoors in January to February for the largest bulbs, placing seeds thinly 0.5cm (quarter-inch) deep in trays of seed compost and keeping at approximately 15°C (60°F). Harden off from April to May and plant out 20cm (8in) apart in rows spaced 30cm (12in). For outdoor sowing, sow thinly 1.5cm (half-inch) deep from March to April, spacing rows 30cm (12in) apart and thinning seedlings to 20cm (8in) apart. Maintain steady moisture and keep the area weed-free to support strong, healthy growth.

Harvest from August to October and enjoy sweet, home-grown onions that are full of flavour and ideal for fresh cooking or storage.
