Enjoy a long and reliable harvest of tender, flavoursome French beans from these compact plants. Delinel produces an abundance of slender, stringless green pods over an extended season and has useful resistance to bean mosaic virus and anthracnose. An RHS Award of Garden Merit winner, this dependable dwarf variety is ideal for vegetable plots, raised beds and large patio containers.

SOW INDOORS April-May, singly in pots of compost, 2.5cm/1in deep. Harden off from late May and transplant into the final growing position in June. SOW OUTDOORS May-July, directly into the final position, 5cm/2in deep and approximately 20cm/8in apart. Keep well watered, especially when flowering and pods are forming. Pick beans regularly while young and tender to encourage a continuous harvest. Suitable for freezing.
