Asparagus Crown Collection
From 1st April 2025.
Product Description
Our asparagus crown collection includes a collection of 10 crowns of each of the Erasmus, Backlim, and Ginjlim cultivars - including two green varieties and one purple. Through growing these asparagus planting crowns, you will have a long harvest period, with early and late season varieties included. All reliable growers, hardy and suited to growing in the UK climate, this selection of vegetable plants makes for a straightforward and dependable choice.
Asparagus is much easier to plant and grow than many people think! Years ago it used to be grown in specially prepared raised beds, but today’s modern hybrid varieties perform really well ‘on the level’ and on most well-drained soils. Try to pick a sunny position, removing all perennial weeds and as many stones as possible prior to planting.
Full planting and care instructions are included with every order.
