To grow Parsnip Tender and True seeds, you should sow them directly in their final position between February and April. You should place them half an inch/1.5cm deep and space the rows 18 inches/45cm apart. Once the seedlings have grown, thin the seeds out to 9in/23cm. They will become ready for harvest between November and March.
As a hardy vegetable, Parsnip Tender and True is able to be left in the ground over winter comfortably. They can be harvested during winter as and when needed.
Parsnip Tender and True seeds can take a while to germinate, typically around two to three weeks. Keeping the soil moist during germination can help to improve the process.
