Gooseberry Hinnonmaki Red Fruit Plant is a vigorous, upright mid-season variety producing round, juicy red berries in midsummer. The fruit combines sweet flesh with a pleasantly tangy skin, making it useful both for eating fresh and for pies, crumbles, tarts, jams and preserves.

This hardy gooseberry is easy to grow in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil and performs in full sun or partial shade. Its productive habit makes it a dependable addition to the fruit garden or allotment.
