Protect from frost in a greenhouse or cold frame Harden off/Plant out Late May to early June in final position. Water well and remove weeds as they appear. Keep the roots cold with a mulch of rotted lawn clippings etc. or a cover of black polythene, punctured with a fork. Support: With beans frames, canes or netting. Harvest July onwards. Harvest regularly to encourage a continuous supply of beans. Suitable for freezing.
