After researching in our own trial polytunnel we can thoroughly recommend these varieties for the cold winter greenhouse or polytunnel! 40 plants, 10 of each variety

Calabrese Aquiles F1 - This over-wintering calabrese will yield a tasty and reliable crop as early as March in the tunnel. We have cut the central heads in the first week of March and side spears 10 days later. The solid heads are tender and delicious. Highly resistant to downy mildew too.

Cabbage Spring Hero F1 - The first and only ball-headed spring cabbage. The large, heavy heads stand for weeks.

Cauliflower Mystique F1 - High quality, deep white curds which will be ready in the winter months. A very vigorous variety and well suited to cropping outdoors or under cover.

Cabbage Duncan F1 AGM - A versatile variety producing excellent early greens and quality hearts later on. Planting in September will give spring greens by March and hearted spring cabbages through to June.

Following on from our summer cropping range, our autumn and winter cropping varieties will ensure you have a tasty and delicious selection of vegetables to harvest from autumn through to next spring. As for our summer range, all are grown at our nursery, in their own cell of compost, and have been selected for their flavour and reliability. Despatches will begin in September for immediate planting.

You will be impressed by their quality and the speed with which they establish and grow after transplanting, giving you the satisfaction of home grown vegetables. Top quality varieties, professionally grown, delivered at just the right time and in perfect condition for growing on in your garden, allotment or greenhouse, with complete, easy-to-understand growing hints – just what you would expect from D.T. Brown.
