Bring colour and exceptional sweetness to summer salads with these attractive pink mini-plum tomatoes. Flamingo F1 produces heavy crops of smooth, bite-sized fruits weighing approximately 20g each. Their superbly sweet flavour makes them delicious eaten straight from the vine or added to lunchboxes and salads. This vigorous indeterminate cordon variety can be grown in a greenhouse or outdoors in a sunny, sheltered position.

SOW INDOORS January-March for greenhouse crops or March-April for outdoor crops, thinly 0.5cm/quarter-in deep in pots or trays of compost. Keep at approximately 16°C/60°F and transplant into individual pots at the 2-4 leaf stage. Plant into large containers, grow bags or the greenhouse border from late April-May. Harden off outdoor plants and plant in a sunny, sheltered position in early June. Provide support, regularly remove side shoots and pinch out the growing tip after 4-5 trusses have formed.
